The Langer collection is extensive and includes: personal, business, political and legal papers; materials concerning Langer's years as State's Attorney for Morton County; correspondence as Attorney General; his files as Governor; Senatorial materials, office files, subject files, speeches, clippings, material on North Dakota post offices, bills, 8,541 law case files, xerox copies of Witness Books, from the Senate Committee on Privileges and Elections, containing sworn statements in the trial pertaining to the protest in seating Langer in the 77th Congress. The nine photos. in the collection have been transferred to Dept.'s Photography Collection. Series I and II have a total of ten subseries.
